Equinox is delighted to announce that Tim Meikle has joined the team as our new Head Chef. Tim brings a whole different unique creative style and vision to our current production of food & service. Expect big things in the near future as we look to introduce new food using the best local poduce with the recruitment of Tim.
Originally from New Zealand, Tim found himself in world class upmarket eateries in London – including a Michelin-starred restaurant – and came to Australia’s South West to open up his own busy café, along with his close friend, in a bush-hideaway in Dunsborough before joining our team.
Tim has been travelling around the region seeking the best local produce to use in his menus. Our new Breakfast Menu has been launched as well as our Lunch and Dinner menus which have been gradually evolving to also become great choices for all tastes while using local produce.
Tim has his eyes set on local produce and being in the Margaret River Region we have access to the best quality local produce on our doorstep. In the early days of Tim’s recruitment he went on a trip around the region looking to source local foods to be served right here at the Busselton Jetty.
